Ally Parsons - Friday, October 08, 2010

It's Friday everyone!!! We've been having some fun with our Friday Daily Reports, so I hope you are enjoying our humorous take on our industry as much as we are. Today will be no different. First we have a great lesson about using social media from the one, the only, Yoda. Moving on to more advice from a fictional character, we bring you a guide to social media from the Mad Man, Don Draper. (As a Mad Men fan, I especially enjoyed this one.) As always, we will leave you with Facebook Page do's and dont's from a non-fictional character. Enjoy!

Do or do not, there is no try with social media: Yoda may not have intended on using these words to guide us through social media, but they fit perfectly. Check out the article.

Wise words from Don Draper: Yes, it's true Don Draper does not actually exist. Even though the character is fictional, the quotes from this Mad Man can help guide you in your social media strategy.

Real advice from a real person: No funny lines or movie clips to entice you to read this but it is worth your time. With all of the additions you can add to your Facebook Page, it's a good idea to know what to do and what not to do.
