Now that the elections are over, it's interesting to see the impact social media really had on the outcome of many races. Facebook is claiming users helped predict more than 70% of key races. Also, a pro business group took over YouTube's homepage on election day to push certain candidates. Finally, the GOTV efforts this year got a big push from social media.
